Welcome to NorthWest Shots. My name is Pat Cross, I specialize in sports photography because I like taking pictures of doing their best at any age. I do charge for my photographs to help offset website and software costs. The cost of the photographs is nominal when compared to the costs associated with a full professional site. The photographs are taken with a Canon Mark II using Canon's L series lens - these are some of the best optics in the world but they are not cheap either.

Almost every photograph has been processed using either Adobe's Lightroom or Photosho. I have retouched to some degree almost every photograph posted on this site. If for some reason you are not happy with the quality of the photograph, please contact me an I can generally fix it via one of the software tools available in the market place. I tend to run a tight crop on all my photographs - if you wish a more open cropping than what is posted, please contact me and I can post the original photograph without any retouching.

I hope you enjoy my work, which continues to improve with time and practice. Like most photographers I am constantly learning the skills required to take quality photographs and the tools that are available in the market place.
